10 BUCKAROONIES
It is so pretty! I would love it more if it was on a painted wall to pick up those amazing moss greens or terra cotta orange colors. I might give this to my brother who just bought a house. He has a brick fireplace where those colors would just pop!
These cuties (which I thought were sea shells until I brought them home and realized they were lettuce dishes!) were….

I liked them better as sea shells and had planned to put them in a seascape mantel setting but it’s OK. I love lettuce too. Kind of. Looking back I think I overpaid – yep that’s how cheap I am.
Well this pretty thing was hiding in the corner of the store. It’s fairly big about 24” x 18”. I just love anything that looks old and European so I bought it.

$3.00 as in Three Big Ones – a Mc Donald's McFlurry.
As you can see I have fun at Thrift Stores and can’t wait to show you what else I find!

That lettuce story made me laugh. Nothing wrong with good lettuce-scape. You are such a visionary; I go to thrift stores and see junk, junk, junk.... or I buy stuff that all needs hours of attention so it just sits in my garage *sigh* Someday, I'm sure I'll get them all done and be happy I did though. Right? RIGHT?!
