Ah, back to Thrift Store Treasures!  I got this a while ago but wanted to take some detailed photos of it before I showed it to you.  I think this is my favorite find EVER!  I am so in love.  I splurged, 10 bucks at the thrift store.  Worth every dollar Smile

You can see that lamp I fixed up from the thrift store and Mod Podged a lamp shade on this post.  Today, I’m here to show you this cute circle bunny mirror I found! (it was hiding behind really ugly mirrors – yey!)

I’ve always been a Beatrix Potter fan so this mirror made me smile and think happy thoughts.  I put it in my youngest daughter's room.  She’s almost 4 so I’m not sure I can call it a babies room.  (oh, so sad…..kind of……Winking smile)

She’s such a goof ball – yes that is her “pitty leetle pincess feet” she is showing off in that picture.

Talking about FEET  (I love these Give-a-ways!)  my good friend Heather from Mom4life offered to give one of my readers a pair of these adorable White Burst (unisex)  BABYLEG legwarmers. Don't let the name legwarmers scare you off for summer.  I used these on the "little princess" above ALL throughout summer, especially in her crawling stages.  It was so nice to have her in a onesie and the babylegs covering her knees.  She could scoot all around without hurting her tender skin.  Older kids also love wearing these and they make GREAT gifts.  Check out all her other wonderful products too like the Hooter Hider and the Belly Bandit.

French Furniture Painting w/ Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Blue

Do you guys like entering giveaways?  I try to enter them because wouldn’t it be fun to win?? Well I DID win some chalk paint from Southern Hospitality’s Blog by Stylish Patina the other day.  (super cool, I checked and I was 1 out of 250 – wow!)  Anne Sloan Chalk Paint So I get this chalk paint and wax in the mail and to be honest with you I had NO IDEA what this stuff even was???  I totally had to research on the internet and hope to find other blogs that have used it.  I did – actually a LOT of bloggers have written posts on it, one of my favorites was Perfectly Imperfect .  I guess this stuff is the HOT product on the market. Want to know why????? There is NO need for SANDING OR PRIMING your furniture piece before you start!!! Pottery Barn Knockoff–Distressed Clock Decor

Ahhhhhh Pottery Barn.  The gorgeous pictures, the GIANT price tags.  If only we could re-create for less everything we see in that magazine.  Well today’s post will give that a try  – Pottery Barn for under $10.00.  Yep, that’s right, this next project cost me around 6 bucks.  When I was at the thrift store I spotted this lonely round board.  It was almost 2 feet around, insanely heavy and covered in laminate but I thought hummmm……this has some CLOCK potential!  So I bought it for a whopping $1.50. Here is the lovely BEFORE picture: And here is the AFTER: Now how I got there.  :-) First I distressed the plastic and wood by sawing the edges, hammering the center, and quickly sanding the entire circle.  I didn’t spend a lot of time doing this because I had another idea to help with the distressing which you’ll see in the next few steps.
